For many years now the uk government has been running spending deficits creating dangerously high levels of debt.
The multi national companies are an imported contributor to this terrible situation as they pay little or no taxations making it extremely difficult for smaller, local business to survive.
I am calling for a number of measures by which we as a community can protect ourselves from the multi nationals.
- Major reform of the taxation system
- The Scrapping of Corporation Tax for the multi nationals and it’s replacement with a much simpler and more difficult to avoid, sales tax
- I am calling on all my fellow Yorkies to join me in supporting local business whenever possible as this directly support our community
