Farming

We all need to be deeply concerned at how farmers are being driven off the land.

No Farmers means No Food.

I believe we are all, throughout the West, being steered in to a food shortage on a global scale and we, the people, all need to come together, to oppose it. There is hardly a country across Europe, including Britain, that hasn’t seen its farmers taking to their tractors and demonstrating on the roads and streets, to draw attention to their increasing, politically sponsored, plight.

At this time, the best thing we can do for our farmers is buy direct from them. We are lucky, in York. The Murton Farmers’ market offers a ready means for the people of York to step up and help defend our local farmers.

Securing food security is essential. At a time when farmers are coming under increasing financial pressure, so are our urban farmers on their allotments. It is my view that reversing the recent spate of price increases for allotment holders and encouraging them to grow their crops, is as important now for our food security as ever it has been in the history of the allotment movement.

Reform for Government support for British farming. Prior to being lured into the Common Market on a lie from the then Prime Minister and traitor, Ted Heath, Britain had a wonderful system of support for British food. Delivering livelihoods for farmers and the best food at the cheapest prices for British families. The failure of Britain’s politicians to reinstate this excellent program for support underscores just how superficial the body politic has been in paying its lip service to the will of the British people, to leave the EU. I believe returning to the pre Common Market mechanisms for producing British food for the British people needs to be immediately implemented.

Farming is the basis for securing life. Why are our national party politicians seemingly so indifferent to this?

The next attack on Farming will be the next scamdemic – bird flu. I expect the move in Scotland to demand every chicken be registered or the chicken owner suffers jail and or a fine will be brought south to England in due course.

The World Health Organisation’s World Pandemic Treaty includes an outrageous attack on farming. Put on hold for now. We believe, in a year or two it will be brought back, repackaged, rebranded. Regardless of the colour of the badge the politicians are pinned to. It must be resisted.
