The Climate

Or as some call it – “The Climate Con”.

Not for the first time, the media has played a terrible role peddling the official narrative. Everyone has heard of Greta Thunberg. Whereas very few people outside the world of climatology, have heard of Dr. Judith Curry.

Thinking back to when Greta was very prominent in the media, she was a very modestly educated adolescent. On the basis of her youth she could speak very passionately about the climate. As she wanted to view it. And the media gave her as much of a boost as it could to magnify her passion and belief. However, the mainstream media was not so forthcoming on showing her difficulty in responding to questions.

Dr. Judith Curry, on the other hand, is a mature women of recognised world renown in the field of climatology with many published, peer reviewed papers to her credit. For some reason, the world’s media are not interested in presenting this woman’s mature, educated, informed view of the current climate craze. All in stark contrast to the exposure it so readily gave to the Greta Thunberg child.

Dr. Judith Curry is not alone. Any scientist, no matter how renowned, is being ignored by the media, if what they have to say does not conform to the official narrative.

Here are some facts the propaganda media don’t want you to know.

1. Whether or not our planet is warming or cooling depends on the time frame you are looking at. A short time frame and the planet appears to be warming. All be it from the coldest point in the last 10,000 years. A longer time frame and it appears to be cooling.

2. A changing climate is a constant for our planet. So the real question is not, whether or not the climate is changing, the real question is, just because there are significantly more humans on the planet does that mean we are having a significant impact on the planet’s temperature? There is no conclusive evidence for this question.

3. Is CO2 the problem. The science on CO2 is not decided. There are some who see CO2 increases as a consequence of global warming, not the cause. The idea of pushing ahead with extremely expensive energy generating programs to replace fossil fuel generation on the back of contentious science is reckless at the level of strategic vandalism.

4. CO2 is a trace element in the atmosphere. There is just 0.04% of it in the air that we breathe. It has increased from 0.03%. The food chain requires plants and plants need CO2. With the increase in CO2, NASA is reporting that the world’s deserts have shrunk by 15%.

5. Whilst we are deliberately destroying our ability to compete industrially on the back of a question of dogma, rather than science, India and China are pushing ahead with a massive expansion of their fossil fuel power generation capacity, rendering our efforts puny and futile. All on the back of inconclusive, dubious science. It is as if we are deliberately trying to destroy ourselves.

6. The dubious question about climate change is distracting us from a far more important concern – The Environment. We believe the widespread use of plastics which is poisoning our planet and ourselves is a matter of grave concern and is definitely due to our actions. The daily releasing of chemicals into the sky is also a matter of great concern.
