The EU has been nothing but a disaster for Britain.
We have lost our sovereignty in exchange for a worse country. There have been no gains or benefits except for our most corrupt politicians and our weakest, most self serving fellow countrymen.
A good illustration of the impact of the EU on Britain would be, if you look at a film of a British street scene in the 1950s, every vehicle you see will have been made in Britain, whereas, if you look at a similar street scene of today, it is highly likely none of the vehicles will have been made in Britain.
Meanwhile, over in Germany, half a million Germans are employed making cars for Britain. That’s half a million British people denied the possibility of that employment and the quality of life that comes with it.
Sadly, there are a great many people who don’t care about how so many of us are suffering. Their selfish, callousness is a millstone around the necks of all of us. They want to take us back into the EU and for some reason they don’t have the courage to move there. Instead want to drag the rest of us with them. Back into the visceral capitulation that is Britain being a part of the EU.
The destructive nature of the EU as far as jobs and industry is concerned is well illustrated by the closure of Terry’s here in York and the movement of its production to Poland.
One of the current concerns is the proposed integration of the British Armed forces with an EU military. Try and imagine what will happen to our troops under a French or German general. We think you have to be a special kind of evil to think this is a good idea.
If you think the EU is a good idea, fine. All we ask is that you find the courage to move there. There is no justification for forcing the rest of us to suffer the consequences of your lack of national identity.
